There’s no denying CBD has blown up over the past year.

After recent research confirmed CBD wasn’t psychoactive like its cannabinoid brother THC and was actually good for us, the shift in views and opinions around CBD quickly changed and the UK along with many other countries are now promoting the use of CBD.

We’ve started to see many amazing companies begin to build the UK CBD market. However due to the markets slack laws and guidelines, it can be tricky to find recommended and trusted CBD companies to buy from.

Here are my top 5 CBD brands from 2021 that I’ve personally tried and tested and that I highly recommend buying from.

I first tried CBD back in 2019. I had heard about CBD previously and knew it was similar to THC, which I consumed regularly but I wasn’t entirely sure what CBD was, or what it did exactly.

A new CBD dispensary had recently opened up in the city local to me and it was owned by a lovely French couple who were super knowledgeable on CBD and all of its medicinal abilities. I remember going in and they had samples of CBD oil for customers to try.

This was my first time ever trying CBD oil. I found the oil tasted very much like the cannabis flower I was used to smoking.

We brought a few different strains of flower and a bottle of oil. We really enjoyed and got on well with CBD however it didn’t compare to our favourite cannabinoid, THC.

But trying CBD for the first time is an experience I will never forget and it definitely opened doors into the CBD world for me.

Fast forward to 2021 and I’ve been fortunate enough to try a range of fantastic CBD brands.

I now use CBD a lot more in my daily life from CBD bath bombs and soaps to oils and vapes, balms, gummies and capsules which you can find over on my Instagram and in my reviews sections.

I’d like to take this chance to say a massive thank you to each of the company’s that sent me over samples in 2021, I’m so grateful for these amazing opportunities.

I’m super excited to see what 2022 holds for the CBD market and all of the new CBD products and companies that the new year will bring and hopefully to be able to share them with you.
